Clark “Ed” Batchelder Sr., 82, passed away on April 24, 2018.

He was retired from the United States Air Force and Navy after 22 years of service, having served in Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a son, Samuel and a great-niece, Lynn.

He is survived by his wife, Lula Mae; daughters, Suzanne and Shellie; sons, Rudolph and Clark Jr.; stepdaughters, Deanne, Leanne and Kay Turner and Jamie Snyder; stepson, Lance; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

There will be a no visitation at the funeral home.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Thursday, April 26, at 9:30 a.m. with Wayne Griffith officiating.
