Old Tools Needed For McCoy Farm & Gardens

  • Tuesday, April 24, 2018

The old blacksmith shop at the McCoy Farm & Gardens has been rebuilt on the original site by the Signal Mountain Lions Club. The original chimney and forge were saved and are operational. In addition, some of the original siding was salvaged and used on the interior of the shop. Organizers were able to save a few tools from the original shop and have received some donations of tools and equipment, including anvil, vise and an old manual drill press.

More old tools from the early 1900's period that would typically be found in a farm/blacksmith shop are needed.  These tools will be prominently displayed in the shop.

To donate to McCoy Farm & Gardens, please contact Paul Jensen at 886-2889 or jensbrow@epbfi.com.
