Cleveland High School Choral Department performs their Spring Choral Concert on Monday, 6:30 pm at CHS. The concert will feature the Silhouettes treble choir, Ebony and Ivory mixed choir, and the Renaissance Show Choir. Admission is free. CCS School Nutrition Department celebrates School Lunch Heroes Day on Friday. Between preparing healthy food, adhering to strict nutrition standards, navigating student food allergies, and offering service with a smile, Cleveland City Schools nutrition professionals have a lot on their plate. School Lunch Hero Day provides an opportunity for parents, students, school staff and communities to thank those who provide healthy meals to 30 million of America’s students each school day.
 

Cleveland High School Academic Signing Day and Senior Walk is Friday. Seniors will celebrate post-secondary plans with academic scholarship signing, college group pictures, and visits to elementary schools or middle school dressed in graduation hat and robe to inspire future graduates. Arnold Memorial Elementary hosts a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta/ Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Friday, 5:30-7:00 pm. Arnold Hispanic families will treat students and families to a taste of their culture. There will have pinatas, a photo booth, crafts (Maracas and Baleros), a sampling of Hispanic food, and Mexican Dancing performed by present and past students. Cleveland High Thespian Troupe 505 host a Theater Workshop on Saturday, 10:00 am - 2:30 pm in the CHS Betsy Vines Memorial Theater. Workshop is open for students in 4th-8th grades. Stuart Elementary performs Disney's The Little Mermaid, Jr. on Sunday, 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm in the Stuart Auditorium. The community is invited Under the Sea as the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students show you all the hard work they have put into making this show happen. Tickets are $8.00 at the door.
