During the month of April, the artwork of Southern Adventist University fine art students will be on display at the Association for Visual Arts Landis Student Gallery on Frazier Avenue.

AVA is hosting a reception for the show on Friday from 5:30-8 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.

The exhibit, titled “Southern Adventist University Studio Group Show,” is open April 6-27. Coordinated by Southern’s School of Visual Art and Design, eight students are participating with a broad selection of pieces including oil paintings, installations, and mixed media.

“This exhibition is providing our students the opportunity to present their artworks to the Chattanooga art community,” said Marc Boyson, MFA, associate professor of art at Southern. “The students are excited to share their work.”
