Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Hosts Mother's Day Luncheon On Saturday

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church will host it's Mother's Day Luncheon on Saturday, May 5, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  
 
The guest speaker will be Morgan Avery McCoy, actress, author, speaker, educator, writer, founder and CEO of Production Company. She performs a one woman show, and portrays seven characters: breast cancer, domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, self esteem and many more.

Other special guests are Christian J. Collier, Shalon Hannah, Willie McClendon, Pat White, and The Robinsons/3D Singers.

Donations of $15 will benefit Youth Ministry.

Authorities said a Hixson man shot and killed his 15-year-old son on Saturday night. A report says Mike McElrath, 46, who was found naked at a neighbor's house, also killed the family dog.
