Rome, Ga., Boy, 14, Drowns At Little River Canyon

A 14-year-old boy from Rome, Ga., has died after going under the water near Martha's Falls at Little River Canyon.

Authorities received a call about the teen at around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, saying the boy had not resurfaced.

A number of searchers began looking for him and the body was found around 3:15 p.m.

He was a student in the Rome school system.
