Arthur Smith, 33, Shot On Davis Avenue On Sunday

Arthur Smith, 33, was shot on Davis Avenue Sunday afternoon.

 

Chattanooga Police responded at 12:56 p.m. to the 700 block of Davis Avenue on a person shot.

 

Police made contact with Smith who had sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS with non-life threatening injuries.

 

CPD Violent Crimes investigators determined the suspect and the victim were at a residence. The suspect produced a handgun and demanded that Smith give him everything he had. While struggling to get the gun from the suspect, Smith was shot in the leg.
