Cammie Joubert, 76, formerly of New York, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, in a local health care facility.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Humphries.

Survivors include her son, Calvin R. Joubert, of Orangeburg, N.Y.; daughter, Michelle (Sidney) Buxton of; grandchildren, Damon Buxton, Deryk Buxton, and Morgan Buxton all of Hixson; other relatives and friends.

She will lie in state on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at noon at New United M.B. Church with Pastor Dr. Jeffrey T. Wilson as the eulogist.

Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
