Police Charge Keylon With Killing Woman's Dog On Partridge Lane

Police have charged a Chattanooga man with killing a woman's dog at a residence on Partridge Lane.

Jonathan Ray Keylon, 27, was charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.

Police went to the woman's residence and found her hiding behind a neighbor's fence that was obscured by bushes.

She said Keylon was inside her house armed with a knife, and he had killed her dog. She was visibly shaking and said she had not given Keylon permission to be in her house.

Police found Keylon inside the living room with wet clothing that was covered in mud. He was lying in the dark with his hands in the air and his face covered with a blanket.

Keylon said he had killed the dog by accident while sighting in the scope of a pellet rifle. He said it happened in a wooded area behind the home.

Police found a large amount of blood inside a shed
