Odell Fletcher
Odell Collier Fletcher, 90, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018.
She retired from the office of Dr. Michael Douglas.
She was preceded in death by her husband of many years George Willie Fletcher; parents, Edgar Collier and Ora Langford; son, Alfred “Flap” Fletcher; brothers, George Willie, James Willie, James Edward Collier; sisters, Inez Parker, Susie Bonner, Earizene Edmonds-Fitzgerald, Edmonia Downs and Corine Mathew.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Fletcher; granddaughter, Tenesica Fletcher; grandson, Alfred Jermaine (Christy) Fletcher of Memphis; great-grandchildren, DeNisha Orr, Hollie and Toni Fletcher; great-great-grandchildren, Tenia, Jordan, Bailey, Justin, Aston, London, Kaleb, Terriunna, Rhianna; brothers, Carl (Elaine) Gamble, Jesse L. (Ruth) Collier, A.J. (Diane) Collier; sisters, Bobbie Hall-Gamble, Catherine Harris, Willie Mae (Alphonso) Western, Emma J. (Edward) Moore, Mildred Collier; brother-in-law, Ambrose Downs; sister-in-law, Lillie Collier; a devoted niece and nephew, Brenda Dickens, Shirley Parker and Johnny Parker along with several other nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, May 26, at Greater Friendship P.B. Church with Elder Reginald L. Yates officiating and Elder Wilbur Waddle eulogist. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
The body will lie in state two hours prior to the service at the church, 1208 Glenwood Drive.
