Donna Jean Paradise, 54, of Chickamauga, went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2018. She had lived in the Chickamauga area for most of her life and was a member of Faith Baptist Tabernacle, prior to becoming a member of Battlefield Baptist Church. She was a faithful servant and prayer warrior.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Paradise.
She is survived by her father, Rubin (Patricia) Lands, of LaFayette; mother, Jean Brandon, of Chickamauga; son, Christopher (Jenny) Paradise, of Rossville; daughter, Jessica Paradise, of Rossville; three sisters, Mitzi (Michael) Yancey, Cindy (Mark) Hale and AJ Cooper, all of Chickamauga; three grandchildren, MaKenzie, Abby and Emily Paradise; six nieces and nephews, Ashley, Jennifer, Derek, Sammy, Tiffany, Logan and Chloe; five great-nieces and great nephews, Jalen, Kalen, Ayden, Grayson and Kamden; and numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel, with Rev. Steve Brandon and Rev. Randy Lynn officiating. Burial will follow in Chickamauga City Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. on Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
