Baylor, Signal Mountain Girls Win State Tennis Championships

Two Chattanooga girls tennis teams won state championships on Wednesday in Murfreesboro.   Baylor beat rival GPS 4-3 in the Division II-AA state title match and Signal Mountain beat L&N Stem 4-2 to win the Division I-A title.   

Baylor's Lauren Carelli, Landie McBrayer, Anna Hawkings and Lily Mooney won singles matches 

McBrayer and Presle Thomas won their doubles match.

In Signal Mountain's win, Grace Williams, Callie Mastin and Cathryn Trombley won singles matches and Williams won doubles with teammate Sarah Kate Bailey.
