Habitat For Humanity's Restore Staff To Provide Support To Area Residents Hosting Yard Sales

  • Wednesday, May 23, 2018

Officials at Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore are ready to provide a helping hand to area residents by picking up any household items, furniture, building materials or appliances that residents no longer need or are unable to sell. The donated items will in turn be sold at Habitat’s ReStores, located in Chattanooga on 14th Street and in Ooltewah on Apison Pike.

Habitat’s ReStore operates as a retail store, accepting donations of new and gently used household items from individuals and businesses in the community. These goods are then sold to the public at a reduced cost, usually 50 to 70 percent of the original price.

All proceeds from the ReStore sales go directly into funding Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building homes for deserving families in Hamilton County.

To schedule a complimentary donation pick up, call the ReStore at 423-634-1004.
