Roderick Jones
Roderick Cardell Jones, Jr., 36, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Ponder and Lurlene Ponder, Leslie and Dorothy Fountain.
Survivors include his father, Roderick Jones, Sr.; mother, Angela Ponder; sisters, Shamica Jones and Latrece Jones, all of Chattanooga; uncles, Norman Ponder, Larry Ponder, both of Chattanooga, and Richard Ponder of Alabama; aunt, Debra Ponder of Florida; nieces, Kya Jones, Kiriyana Bullard, Amaiya Holland, and Cynari Jones; nephews, grandson Jones and Antonia Bullard, all of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends.
He will lie in state on Friday, May 25, after 1 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Brother Jimmie Ingram as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
