Motorcyclist Killed After Colliding With Car On Highway 60 Is Identified As Stephen Allen

A motorcyclist who was killed on Highway 60 on Thursday afternoon after colliding with a car has been identified as Stephen D. Allen, of Ooltewah.
 
At approximately 4:30 p.m., Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the 5100 block of Highway 60 for the report of a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle vs. car. 
 

The accident involved a Toyota Camry and a Harley Davidson motorcycle. According to traffic investigators, the preliminary investigation indicates the Camry was pulling onto Highway 60 from a private drive when it pulled in front of the motorcycle which was heading south on Highway 60 causing the collision.

Mr. Allen’s family has been notified and at this point in the investigation, and it is believed no impairment was involved.

The driver of the Camry did not sustain any injuries. 

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 31, at 11:30 a.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel with Reverend Bill Mason officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
