The Conscious Community Coordinators organized the first Mindful Market Chattanooga, held on May 6, bringing together 30 local vendors and over 150 attendees.

"The Mindful Market Chattanooga is a community gathering that brings together local businesses, artisans and practitioners to benefit the overall health and wellness of mind, body and soul. The MMC is happy to work with local businesses like Nutrition World, Glacè Cryotherapy and Hanner TKD. They also had the talents of various practitioners, performers and local artisans. The Mindful Market Chattanooga has quickly grown to a monthly event with multiple locations planned in the Chattanooga area through September 2018," officials said.

Attendees and vendors who attended the Mindful Market Chattanooga said, ”It was a very positive atmosphere. Very family friendly,” and, “I really enjoyed the variety of local businesses there. I also enjoyed that the theme of the market involved a holistic and communal mindset. I liked the raffle and the gift bags. I also appreciated that Mindful Market group didn't take a percentage of sales.”

The upcoming Mindful Market Chattanooga on Saturday, June 23 will be held at 423 St. Francis and goes towards benefiting Partnership for Children and Families.

"Once again, we will begin the day at 11 a.m. with a lovely meditation and drum performance to set intentions and raise the vibration of the day. The Conscious Community Coordinators will also have multiple outdoor demos, indoor classes, face painting and family fun available throughout the day," officials said.
