Garmon Eugene McNabb, Sr.

Garmon Eugene McNabb, Sr., age 75, of Chattanooga passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Susie” McNabb; parents, William “Bill” and May McNabb; and brother, Glen McNabb. 

Those left to cherish his memories are two children, Dawn (Joey) Wormsley of Hixson, and Garmon “Dusty” McNabb, Jr. of  Chattanooga; sister, Sarah Bell of Virginia; grandson, Kile Wormsley; and special cousin, Delmar McNabb.  

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, with the graveside service to follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be at McNabb Cemetery in Mullins Cove.

George Davis, 52, of Dayton, died on Friday, October 12, 2018, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. He was born on Sept. 30, 1966, in LaFollette. George was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Parlie Bolton, his father, Eddie Davis and his uncle, John Bolton. Daniel “Danny” Herman Davis, 56, of Cleveland, Tn., passed away on October 15, 2018, at his residence. He was born on July 25, 1962, to Herman Davis and Alice Fay Cooper. City "Moves Away" From $4 Million Light Show On Walnut Street Bridge

The city is no longer pursuing a plan for a $4,050,000 light show on the Walnut Street Bridge.
