The founders of Stay with HCDE proudly endorse Elizabeth Baker for District 2 county commissioner. Elizabeth was an invaluable asset to our Stay with HCDE team, and her unwavering dedication was a vital component in working comprehensively within our county system.

Elizabeth is an experienced citizen advocate and skillful problem-solver. Her experience with running a business gives her the acumen to understand process and budgets, and translate how policies and numbers directly affect the community. She possesses an intrinsic instinct for turning issues into opportunities that meet the needs of teachers, students, and citizens alike.

As policy analyst for Stay with HCDE, Elizabeth assessed the status and potential of our current system within the context of educational trends nationwide. She devoted countless hours of personal time towards strengthening the bonds between the mountain community and the rest of Hamilton County. She exemplifies the beliefs that strong solutions are built upon strong partnerships, and that all voices matter.

Elizabeth’s breadth of knowledge regarding governmental process and operation is astounding. Her extensive experience coupled with her intelligence and moral integrity make her the best candidate for District 2 county commissioner.

She is a fearless proponent of transparency in government, and an unwavering supporter of elected officials listening to and being held accountable by their constituents. Elizabeth is a steadfast advocate for strong partnerships among communities, businesses, and government.

We at Stay with HCDE applaud how Elizabeth has conducted her campaign, actively reaching out to all areas of the District 2 community. She is a champion for all the people of our diverse community, and will work with other officials for the betterment of the larger community as well. As we have seen in our own experience working closely with her, we know she will act honestly, openly, and fairly on behalf of the communities she serves.

Stay with HCDE owes a great deal to Elizabeth Baker, and we are proud to support her candidacy for Hamilton County Commission.

Thank you,
Renee Shoop, Michael McCamish, and Meg Brasel
