Mamie Lou Wells, 83, of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018. 

Mamie was a member of Baptist Hill Baptist Church in Jasper. 

She was preceded by her parents, James William and Millie Moree Jones; sisters, Faye Williams, Mary Cantrell; brothers, Troy Jones, Tim P. Jones, William Isiac “Mink” Jones and Lotchie Jones; and special granddaughter, Kennedy Griffith.  

Those left to cherish her memory are her best friend and former husband, Herbert “Hosey” Wells; son, Allen Wells; daughters, Pam Griffith and Jan (Troy) Coffelt; brother, Mack Vernon “Jonsie” (Elsie) Jones; grandchildren, Tyler Moore, Shelby Moore, Kolbe Griffith, Brent (Becca) Layne, Payton (Daniel) Ireland, Lucas Coffelt; great-grandchildren Cru Layne and Tess Layne; and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 13, from 4-8 p.m. CST. 

Funeral services will be conducted from the Tate Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, June 14, at 3 p.m. CST with Bro. Roger Webb officiating. 

Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
