Jack L. Shook, 84, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, with his two daughters by his side.

A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Jack was former owner and operator of Jack Shook Construction Company.

He was an avid golfer, pool-player, loved playing card games as well as dominoes and bingo.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lively Shook; brothers, Shorty, Benny, Bill, Sprauley, Alvin; son-in-law, David Allen and his grandson, Josh Ottinger.

Jack is survived by his children, Darlene Allen, Chattanooga, Linda (Marty) Ottinger, Birchwood, Tn., Ann (Clyde) Viars, Knoxville, and Allen (Debbie) Smith, Harrison;  brother, Tom (Sue) Shook, Harrison; sister, Catherine Branam, Fl.; 10 grandchildren, David (Lisa Roberson) Allen, Natalia (Jason) Davis, Leah (Randy) Shadden, Jeremy) Katie) Ottinger, Allen (Terri) Smith, Monica (Eric) Jenkins, Jessica (Jose) Castaneda, Rena (Tim) Fields, Betty West and Tony West; 45 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 16, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Travis Ballinger officiating and Marty Ottinger delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Ottinger, David Allen, Jason Davis, Randy Shadden, David Shook and Tim Shook.
