Fletcher, Billy Ray (Ringgold)

Billy Ray Fletcher, 83, of Ringgold, passed away June 11, 2018. Billy was born on April 14, 1935 in Lakeview, Ga. to the late Coy and Thelma Fletcher. He retired from the Chattanooga Electric Power Board after 35 years of service. He spent many years coaching in recreational leagues in North Georgia. Billy was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. He was a member of Peavine Baptist Church in Rock Spring.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Patty Kay Fletcher; brother, Buddy Fletcher; and sister, Jo Quarles.

Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Edith G. Fletcher; daughters, Peggy Fletcher Sutton and Patricia Mae Fletcher; step-daughter, Cindy Phillips Hamilton; sons, Kenny Fletcher and Shannon Fletcher; sister, Sue Fletcher Clark; step-son, Spencer Phillips; two adopted sons, Jeff Fletcher and Greg Fletcher; 24 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; along with two nieces and four nephews.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Josh Hollifield. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
