Jimmy Travis Johnson, 58, of Soddy Daisy passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018.    

He was born August 5, 1959 in Chattanooga. 

Jimmy was retired from the United States Navy following 20 years of service. 

His father, Jimmy Franklin Johnson preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Kimberly Johnson; mother, Glenna Hicks of Soddy Daisy; daughters, Britt Johnson and Lindsey Boen both of Nashville, and Crystal Stanfield of Alabama; brother, Slate (Mitzi) Boyd of Chelsea, AL; niece, Paytin Boyd; sister, April Morrison of Chattanooga; nephew, Jason Morrison; and three grandchildren, Dani, Chelsea, and Jessie.

There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home. 

Mr. Johnson will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
