Mark Bianculli
Mark Anthony Bianculli, 58, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, went to his heavenly home on Monday, June 18, 2018, after a long illness.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and son.
A native of Elmira, N.Y., and the son of Marilyn Joyce Bianculli and the late James Anthony Bianculli, he attended Middle Tennessee State University before entering the U.S. Air Force. Upon leaving the military, Mark worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 27 years. He was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church and an active member of the Chattanooga Elks Lodge #91. His biggest enjoyment came from spending time with his friends, playing cards and being childlike when he’d play with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Jane Padgett; daughter, Marissa (Adam) Bayne, son, Mark “Tony” Anthony Bianculli, stepdaughter, Carmen (Chris Collins) Padgett, sisters, Lori (Zane) Fox, Lisa (Michael) Mench, Karen (Brian) Krupp, brothers, Mike (Melanie) Bianculli, Scott Bianculli, grandchildren, Emma and Ava Bayne and Selena Collins and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 22, at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church with Father Mike Nolan officiating. Interment will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
