Mae Rell Nichols Dyer, 96, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at a local health care facility.  

She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church.  She enjoyed fishing, gardening and flowers and crafts. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Dyer; children, Douglas Maddox and  Joan Jerald; grandchild, Rachel Riddle; parents, Omer and Pauline Manders Sloan and siblings, Royce Sloan, Joe Sloan, Donnis White and Katherine Metros.

She is survived by her children, Donna Langdon (Pete) and Angie Riddle, Jerry Nichols (Patsy),  all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Sherry Cranfield, Gloria Keel, Douglas Jerald, Tony Jerald, Michael Nichols, Tim Nichols, Sherry Kincaid, Terry Nichols, Jeff Nichols, Shondra Rhoades, Ramanda Riddle, Reanna Riddle and Randon Riddle; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Runell Snow of Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.

The family will receive friends from 5–8 p.m. on Friday, June 22, at the funeral home.
