Candidate Forum To Be Held At The Bethlehem Center

  • Wednesday, June 20, 2018

The Bethlehem Center will host a forum where community members can meet the candidates. Each candidate will speak and answer questions presented by  community members.

The forum will be held on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Bethlehem Center at 200 W 38th St.

“This event matter because these are the candidates for offices that most closely affect our everyday lives," said Sandy McCrea, organizer of Hamilton County Voter Coalition. "Our schools, roads, infrastructure are all dependent on who we elect at the local offices. So, it's important to hear the candidates speak and hold them accountable."

The candidates include County Mayor candidate Aloyse Brown, Sheriff candidate Victor Miller, Register of Deeds candidate Vickie Schroyer, and County Commission candidate Chris Dahl. County Commissioner Warren Mackey said he has another meeting.

The moderator will be Nancy Schurr, Assistant Professor of History at UTC.

For more information visit the Hamilton County Indivisible page on Facebook or call the Bethlehem Center at (423) 362-7245.
