James Penny
Elder James Penny, 89, passed away on June 21, 2018.
He was Pastor Emeritus of Greater Friendship P.B. Church. He was a former policeman with the Chattanooga Police Department.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Janet Penny; daughters, Saundra Payne and Robin Mayes; sons, Joe Maffett, Jr. and Quintel Williams; seven grandchildren; and 14 great- grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 30, at noon at Greater Friendship P.B. Church with Elder R. Lavon Yates officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. the same day prior to the service. Interment will be in Lakewood East.
