Another quality start for Kohl Stewart ended in a no-decision Monday night.

The Chattanooga Lookouts could not hold on to a late lead in a 4-2 loss to the Biloxi Shuckers In Monday night's contest. Chattanooga (1-4) continues to struggle in second half play.
Starting pitcher Kohl Stewart was outstanding for the Lookouts. His only blemish came in the fourth inning when he surrendered a solo shot to Jake Gatewood in the fourth.
He finished the night going 6 1/3 innings while striking out eight batters. It was the third time this season he has tallied at least eight strikeouts.
Down one runs in the seventh the home team's bats came alive. Mitchell Kranson led off the seventh with a single to left-center. After a Jaylin Davis walk and an out, Alex Perez smacked a double to bring home Kranson. Davis attempted to score, but was thrown out at home. With two outs Ryan Walker laced a single to bring home Perez and take the 2-1 lead.
The lead only lasted until the eighth, when Biloxi added two runs on RBI singles by Lucas Ercegand and Clint Coulter off losing pitcher Sam Clay.
They added one in the ninth on a homer by Keston Hiura off Tyler Jay
Alex Perez led the offense. He went 2-for-4 with his fifth double and an RBI. Andy Wilkins went 1-for-2 with two walks and his fourth double. Brent Rooker added his 16th double.

Tuesday morning, Lewis Thorpe takes the mound in game six against the Shuckers. Thorpe is coming off striking out a career high 12 batters in game one.
The RJ Young Business Person Special begins at 11:15 a.m. with gates opening at 10:00 a.m.
After a day off Wednesday, Chattanooga opens another six-game series at Tennessee Smokies and return home on July 4th.
