The 11th annual LKQ Used Auto Parts sponsored "FireCracker 50" for true unsanctioned Super Late Models tops the program Saturday night at Fort Payne Motor Speedway.
Along with a fireworks program the UCRA 602/Sportsman will race their first event of the season - a 25-lap feature. Defending race champion David Brannon is expected to be in competition for the $3,000 top prize racing his #33 "Elora Gin, Brannon Cotton Farm" sponsored race car.
Former race winners Josh Putnam of Florence, Ala., and current track record holder Jadon Frame (#J8) of Winchester, Tn., have been in action earlier this season gearing up for Saturday night's 50-lapper. Tennesseans Daniel Miller and David Seibers have also been racing the Fort Payne track in recent weeks. Riley Hickman is the events only two-time winner.

WHO TO WATCH: Current track SLM leader Kasey Hall of Geraldine, Ala., as well as "Big & Lil' Digger JT & Sam Seawright, a pair of teenaged brothers who dominate weekly racing in SLM & Crate.
WHO ARE EXPECTED: Father and son racers Darrell and DJ Hayes (who's currently second in points standings to Hall, and fan favorite and multi-track champion Robert Gant. Locals Kyle May, Richard Smith, Brian Qualls and Georgian Casey Turman are expected as well.
