Longtime Electrician Enjoyed Scuba Diving And Was A History Buff

Roger L. Pedigo, 63, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.

 

Roger was born in Chattanooga to the late John Monroe and Dorothy Long Pedigo.  He was a 1972 graduate of Tyner High School where he was in the band.  Roger graduated from I.B.E.W. #175 apprenticeship program and worked as a journeyman electrician with the Local until his retirement. He enjoyed scuba diving and was a history buff. 

He was also preceded in death by infant sister, Dena Loy.

Roger is survived by his longtime companion, Sheryl Dungan; brother, David Pedigo and fiancé Sherry Turner and sister, Janet (Dennis) Jones; nephews, Jordan (Ashleigh) Fuller, Micah Fuller, and Caleb Fuller and fiancé Catherine Kehell; aunts, Elsie Washington and Irene Long and many cousins.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life for Roger will follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday, at the North Chapel with Minister Reed Perry officiating.   

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
