Cleveland State Community College has appointed Alisha Fox as vice president for Finance and Operations.

Prior to accepting this position, Ms. Fox served as the interim vice president for Finance and Operations, as well as a number of other roles at CSCC including assistant vice president for Finance and Operations, interim director of Fiscal Services, director of Procurement, Disbursement and Contract Services and the director of Purchasing and Contracts. Prior to accepting these positions at CSCC, she served as the general manager for the Chattanooga State Bookstore, as well as the general manager for the Cleveland State Bookstore.

“In her previous positions, Alisha has proven to be a thoughtful, engaging and dynamic campus leader with an outstanding work ethic,” stated Dr. Bill Seymour, CSCC president. “She was a unanimous selection by the search committee following our finalist interviews.”

“I am so honored and humbled to have been chosen by the search committee, Dr. Seymour and TBR,” stated Ms. Fox. “I appreciate their confidence and support…it is such an exciting time at Cleveland State with the pathways project, new programs and capital projects. I am looking forward to collaborating with all departments on campus and working with each of them to prioritize and develop the financial plans to support their needs.”

Ms. Fox continued, “I love the family and community feel of our campus. The faculty and staff truly care about supporting students, the community and each other. Working at a smaller campus ensures that no two days are the same. I enjoy the variety of projects and people I get to work with daily.”

Ms. Fox received her bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, her master of public administration from Valdosta State University and is currently pursuing a doctorate of public administration at Valdosta State, with a concentration in Community College Leadership through East Tennessee State University.
