Linda Sue Buckner
Linda Sue Buckner, 71, went to be with the Lord on Thursday June 7, 2018.
She was a lifelong resident of Ooltewah and member of Gamble Road Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and caregiver to everyone. She retired from McKee Foods after 31 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley “Gene” Buckner and her parents, Hardy T. and Anna Mae Davis and sisters, Evelyn “Dot” Bowman, Mildred Bowman, Jewell Brackett, and Phyllis Johnson; brother, Harold Davis and a lifelong friend, Ben Ray.
She is survived by her son, David Buckner and daughter, Gayle (Mike) Gossett, her brother, Junior Davis, a sister, Diane Farris, and Darlene “Tiny” Ramsey and several nieces and nephews. Grandchildren are Fawnna (Craig) Mizell, Nicholas Buckner, Brittany (Jason) Maynor; great-grandchildren Makala, Abby, Brayden Maynor.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 9, from 4-8 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, June 10, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel, and she will be buried at the Holder Cemetery in Harrison, Tn.
