Cemetery Marker President Faces Theft Charges

The president of a longtime local cemetery marker firm that recently went out of business has been indicted on theft charges.

The Hamilton County Grand Jury on Wednesday indicted Trent Daniel Wichman.

A number of customers of the firm earlier said they had paid for grave stones, but never received them.

The victims were listed as Dean Caleb of Hixson, Brian Thompson of Chattanooga, James Little of Hixson, Geneva Perkins of Ellijay, Ga., Sandra Priest of Chattanooga, Shirley Mykytyn of Temple, Ga., and Richard Watson.
