In the contest to represent District 2 on the Hamilton County Commission, the decision comes down to which Baker to support. I believe Chip Baker’s experience and understanding of our community make him the best choice. Chip is a collaborative leader with a healthy dose of common sense. I have seen Chip take divisive situations and bring parties together for the good of the community. As a 26-year resident of Hamilton County, he knows our community and its needs. His experience on the Hamilton County School Board, as the director of Friends of the Festival and as a hospital administrator has prepared him to represent this district well. I encourage all my neighbors in District 2 to take the time to vote on Aug. 2. We are fortunate to be able to elect a proven leader with a track record of service like Chip Baker.
