Vote for Chip Baker

  • Monday, July 16, 2018

Chip Baker is THE candidate to vote for Hamilton County Commissioner District 2 on Thursday, August 2nd.  I have worked closely with Chip for the past 8 years as a member of the Friends of the Festival (Riverbend) Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

Chip understands our Hamilton County communities. As a resident for 26 years coupled with his service and experiences both as a public service leader and his tenure managing the Erlanger Children’s Hospital, Chip has developed and grown relationships with individuals and organizations which provide him with insights and perspectives on the important matters in Hamilton County.

Chip is a problem-solver.  His style of management is to seek and assemble the right people to discuss possible ways to solve an issue or challenge. Under Chip’s leadership over the last 18 years, Riverbend has emerged as a significant economic engine, boosting the Hamilton County economy by $29.6 million (UT Knoxville research, 2016).

Chip is fiscally conservative.  He knows how to balance a budget and works hard to ensure that his staff stays on budget.  The largest item in the County budget is education; Chip is close to these details  having served on the Hamilton County School Board for 3 terms (12 years) including one term as chairman.

Serving on the Hamilton County commission requires demonstrated business and fiscal experience and success, along with a reputation for accomplishment and community service.  Chip Baker delivers all these qualities.  Vote for Chip Baker TODAY!
