Maude L. O’Donald, 88, of Brookhaven, Ga. and formerly of Tunnel Hill, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. O’Donald was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Alma Neighbors; and daughter, Stella O’Donald.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Bill O’Donald, of the residence; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Steve Fleeman, of Stone Mountain, Ga.; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Tina O’Donald, of Temple, Ga.; six grandchildren, Alisha, Jason, Shannon, Josh, Amanda and Hanna; and three great-grandchildren, Destiny, Aiden and Carter.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 19 at 2 p.m. in the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral home, with the Rev. Dan McFarland and Rev. Miguel A. Vélez officiating.
Serving as pallbearers are Terry Sanders, Aaron Plumley, James Johnson, Geof Shiner, Steve Fish and Stacey Higgins. Burial will be at Smith’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from noon until the service time at 2 p.m.
