Roberta Jaffer
Roberta Foster Jaffer, 98, of Chickamauga, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 16, in a health care facility.
She served on the Mother Board of Friendship Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include her son Morris Edward (Mary) Jaffer; granddaughters, Phyllis (Timothy) Render and Valarie (Brian) Childress both of Atlanta, Ga.; grandson, Jeffery Clark of Denver, Co.; great-grandchildren, Christopher Render, Brandon Render, and Jasmine Render; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday at noon at Friendship Baptist Church in Chickamauga.
The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Hugh Byrd as the eulogist. Burial in Wallaceville Cemetery in Chickamauga, Ga.
