Commissioner Tim Boyd Endorses Jonathan Mason For State Representative

  • Thursday, July 19, 2018

Commissioner Tim Boyd announced today his endorsement of Jonathan Mason for District 30 State Representative.

Commissioner Tim Boyd stated, “If the citizens of District 30 are looking for a state representative that will truly represent their best interest there is only one choice, Jonathan Mason.

"Jonathan's opponent in the Republican primary has proven time and time again as an East Ridge City Council member she represents only special interest and is totally out of touch with her constituents.  She favored the creation of a planning committee that sought the right of the city to take private property using 'eminent domain,' and most recently she was clueless to the basic needs of the East Ridge Police Department, while making sure the Exit 1 developers where taken care of by the taxpayers.

"Please join me in voting for the candidate who will represent each one of us.  Vote Jonathan Mason for House Representative District 30.”

After receiving Commissioner Boyd’s endorsement, Jonathan Mason had this to say,
“Commissioner Tim Boyd serves unapologetically with the taxpayer’s best interest always at the forefront of his decisions. His example of holding government accountable to taxpayer dollars is one that should be shared by all who serve, regardless of party affiliation. It is an honor to be endorsed by Commissioner Boyd and I pledge to serve in the same manner of always asking questions, working toward more facts and information to reach the greatest outcome.”
