Donald L. Stephenson, 77, of Dalton passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at his home. 

He was the son of the late George and Bessie Owenby Stephenson and preceded in death by his brother, Frank Stephenson; and sisters, Agnes Brown, Virginia Shields, Jean Gowins and Pat Robertson. 

Don was retired from the textile industry, and a member of First Baptist Church of Dalton. 

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Juanita Lewis Stephenson, stepson and daughter-in-law, Mark and Robin Sales of Rocky Face, granddaughter and her husband, Allison and Dakota Smith and their children, Declan and Dakson of Calhoun, brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Martha Stephenson, sister and brother-in-law, Virgie and Truitt Blackwell, sister, Louise Young, and many nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Jonathan Barlow and Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating.  

Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends on Monday from noon until 2 p.m. at Love Funeral Home.
