Upcoming Street Closings Announced

Here are upcoming street closings for the week:

Thursday 

COTFB MVP Summer Camp Block Party -  Hughes Ave. will be closed from W 37th Street to Water Street on Thursday from 10AM until 3PM for the COTFB MVP Summer Camp Block Party. 

Friday

Nightfall - Market Street will be closed from East 8th Street to East 10th Street, and ML King Blvd will be closed from Broad Street to Georgia Avenue from 5:30 pm until 12:00 midnight on Friday.
This closure will be in effect each Friday night through Aug. 31.
 

Night Fall Party -  Custom Street will be closed on Friday, from 10AM until 12AM for the Dwell Hotel's Night Fall party. 

West Village Out on 8th  - W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed from 2 pm on Friday until 8AM on Saturday.  
This closure will be in effect each Friday night through Oct. 27.

Do Ya Hear We? Chattanooga Punk Fest - The alleyway behind the 515 block of Cherokee Blvd will be closed to through traffic starting at 5PM on Friday, until 10AM on Sunday, for the Do Ya Hear We? Chattanooga Punk Fest.  

Saturday

Back to School Outreach Block Party -  E 29th Street will be closed between 3rd Ave and 4th Ave on Saturday, from 11AM until 2PM for the Back to School Outreach Block Party. Traffic will be detoured to E 30th Street. 

Movies in the Park -  River Street will be closed on Saturday, from Cherokee Blvd to Tremont Street from 4:30 PM until 12 AM. Tremont Street will remain open to through traffic. This closure will be in effect for every Saturday in July.

West Village Street Festivals-  Pine Street between W 7th Street and W M.L. King Blvd, and 
W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed from 8 am until midnight each Saturday through Jan. 19

Sunday

Chattanooga Market - Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the pavilion parking lot to W 19th Street from 6:00 am until 8:00 pm each Sunday through Nov. 18.
