Ami Has Sermon In Song Sunday At Christ Unity

Ami will be doing a sermon in song at Christ Unity of Chattanooga on Sunday during the 11 a.m. service.

Ami (Amitabhan) shares his music at concerts throughout the country, and at events with spiritual teachers including Matthew Fox, Adyashanti, Gangaji, and Martha Creek. His lyrics and music are inspired by years of meditation, study, and wisdom based spiritual practice.

He tours widely, appearing at up to 100 events per year in the U.S. and into Canada. He has toured, recorded and performed with artists including Kirtana, Wah!, Kathy Zavada, and Jennifer Berezan.

Ami is an award-winning songwriter, who has been influenced by a wide variety of musical traditions. He especially loves sharing songs/chants that open the heart and point audiences back to the peace that lives within.

Authorities said a Hixson man shot and killed his 15-year-old son on Saturday night. A report says Mike McElrath, who was found naked at a neighbor's house, also killed the family dog. Wall Collapses At Home On Bradford Place Drive

Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to a structural collapse call shortly after  10 a.m. on Saturday .   When firefighters arrived at 307 Bradford Place Drive, a large hole could be seen on one side of the house.
