Jeffery Harris, 51, Identified As Pedestrian Struck And Killed On Highway 153 Saturday

Chattanooga Police Department officers responded at approximately 2:15 p.m.  to a report of a body found in the area of 300 Highway 153 Southbound. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased man on the grass median side of a concrete barrier, out of view from passing vehicles.

 

Chattanooga Police Department Traffic Division investigators responded to the scene. Traffic investigators determined a possible vehicle crash involving the pedestrian struck occurred in the roadway at that location.
