Jeffery Harris, 51, Identified As Pedestrian Struck And Killed On Highway 153 Saturday

Jeffery Randall Harris, 51, has been identified as the pedestrian who was struck and killed on Highway 153 on Saturday.

Chattanooga Police Department officers responded at approximately 2:15 p.m.  to a report of a body found in the area of 300 Highway 153 Southbound.
Upon arrival, officers located a deceased man on the grass median side of a concrete barrier, out of view from passing vehicles.
 
Chattanooga Police Department Traffic Division investigators responded to the scene. Traffic investigators determined a possible vehicle crash involving the pedestrian struck occurred in the roadway at that location.
