Physicians Care has hired a new physician assistant to the East Ridge healthcare team.
William Rawson, PA-C, graduated magna cum laude from Kettering College of Medical Arts in Ohio after an intensive nursing program with full-time clinical rotations. He joins the Physicians Care - East Ridge team after most recently serving at East Tennessee Medical Group.
Prior to that position, he was a physician assistant and associate director at University Health Center at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, where he treated a variety of urgent and primary care conditions with students, as well as assisted with Occupational Health for staff.
Mr. Rawson has also worked in family practices, walk-in clinics and emergency rooms.
“We are excited to have William join our team,” said Ellis Harris, DVP, East Division, Physicians Care. “His vast nursing and patient care experience, particularly in emergency and urgent care settings, will be a wonderful addition.”
Physicians Care - East Ridge is located at 403 McBrien Road, near East Ridge Theater. The center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. New patients can register online. No appointment is necessary and most insurances are accepted.
