School-aged children spending the summer at Chambliss Center for Children had a blast at UNUM’s annual Back to School Bash.
"As summer is coming to an end, UNUM employees came out to host a special day on our campus that included inflatables, face painting, temporary tattoos, popcorn and pizza. As an added bonus to the children and their families, volunteers also stuffed 125 backpacks and boxes full of required school supplies, which are given out in preparation for the start of the school year," officials said.
“We always have a great time when UNUM comes out,” said Lesley Berryhill, director of Special Projects and Events for Chambliss Center for Children.
“Not only do our kids get treated to a fun day, they also receive items to help them get the school year started. This is a huge help to our families.”
