Jason Morozowski's 7th inning homer broke a 3-3 tie to give the Jackson Generals the 4-3 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts.
In the defeat, starting pitcher Sean Poppen only allowed three runs in 5 2/3 innings pitched. In six second half starts the righty is 4-2 with a 2.06 ERA.
The home team fell behind two runs early, but Zander Wiel knocked home a run in the third and Luis Arraez blasted his first homer of the year in the fourth to tie the game up at two.
Arraez now has a hit 10 straight games and in 16 out of his last 17. During his streak he is hitting .400 (16-for-40) with six RBIs.
In the fifth inning Jackson once against took the lead. This time the Generals went ahead on a Kevin Medrano RBI double.
In the bottom of the frame Chattanooga knotted the game up on three on a Luke Raley RBI double. The double was Raley's first of the season.
Morozowski launched his homer in the seventh off of Tyler Jay to bring the score to 4-3.
