Erlanger Sports Medicine Chattanooga Kickoff Classic Thursday at Finley

The 2018 high school football season will open at Finley Stadium with the Erlanger Sports Medicine Chattanooga Kickoff Classic.  The two game event will take place on Thursday, August 16th and will feature four Chattanooga area high school teams. 

Walker Valley will play Chattanooga Central at 6 p.m. and Baylor will face off with Notre Dame at 8:30 in the week one matchups. 

The second annual Kickoff Classic is proudly sponsored by Erlanger Sports Medicine who serves several high schools, colleges, and universities in the greater Chattanooga area. 

“We are extremely excited to have the Erlanger Sports Medicine Kickoff Classic return to Finley Stadium to open up the 2018 high school football season,” said Matt Pobieglo, event coordinator.  “Finley Stadium is a great venue and we look forward to our continued relationship in the future.”

Tickets are $10 and admission will be for both games, children 5 and under are free.  Tickets will be pre-sold at participating schools or they may be purchased at the gate the day of the Kickoff Classic. 

A clear bag policy with be enforced at Finley Stadium which states, Only one clear plastic bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches or a one-gallon, clear, resealable plastic storage bag per person will be permitted. Fans will also be allowed a small clutch purse not to exceed 4.5 by 6.5 inches.
