Taylor, Dagmar "Dee" Margot

Dagmar “Dee” Margot Taylor, 68, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 9. She was born on Dec. 11, 1949 in Long Beach, Ca. to Dr. Jo Fisher and Margot Irmgard Herta Freeman. As the daughter of a diplomat, Dee spent her younger years living in Saigon, New Delhi and Kathmandu.

She had a love for her Scottish heritage and spent many summers later in life building friendships at Highlands festivals. Dee will be remembered for her laugh, creativity and big heart.

She is survived by Scott Taylor, her loving husband of 46 years, and two daughters, Dawn Taylor-Cole and Rene Hermanson.  Dee also leaves six grandchildren, Yeshua, Dagan, Otus, Dylan, Elliot and Theona. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. on Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
