Todd Korn

Todd Lyle Korn, 56, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Aug. 14, after a long and courageous twelve-year battle with multiple autoimmune diseases, primarily scleroderma.

He was born in Menomonie, Wi. on July 31, 1962 to Lyle and Anna Niemeier Korn. Todd was a graduate of Oklahoma State University and a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. Todd was a true outdoorsman in every way with a passion for hunting, fishing and boating. Some of his happiest times were spent at his cabin on the Tennessee River. He was an integral part of the family business at Jackie Evans Trucking Company. His most important profession, however, was to raise two beautiful children and to serve as their mentor in life.

He leaves behind loving family members including his wife of almost 31 years, Rhonda Evans Korn; two children: McKenzie Marie Korn and Lukas Todd Korn; his parents Lyle and Anna Niemeier Korn of Georgetown, TN; his sister Amy Ann Landis of Red Lion, PA; his mother-in-law and father-in-law Jackie and Jean Evans of Cleveland, TN; other members of his extended family and countless friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 17, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Clingan Ridge Baptist Church at 2412 Georgetown Road. A celebration of his life service will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Chilcutt United Methodist Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research. Those can be given online at https://Philanthropy.mayoclinic.org/donate. You may also make memorials to the ministry or charity of your choice.

You are encouraged to share a memory of Todd and/or your personal condolences with his family by visiting his memorial web page and guestbook at www.companionfunerals.com.

Companion Funeral Home and the Cody family are honored to assist the family with his arrangements.
