WTCI will debut a 10th anniversary special of “The A List with Alison Lebovitz” on Monday. This one-hour, live special will be hosted by Alison Lebovitz and WTCI’s Emmy Award-winning senior producer, Emily Compton. Featuring special opportunities to support local PBS programming, this show will spotlight some of the guests Ms. Lebovitz has interviewed over the years.

The one-hour live celebration of this milestone will include opportunities to see clips of episodes from throughout the season’s decade-long run and hear from Ms. Lebovitz and her team about some of the behind-the-scenes experiences from the show. Featuring guests like Ken Burns, Pat Summitt, June Scobee Rodgers, Bob Dorough, Gwen Ifill, Matisyahu, Rebecca Eaton, Ben Vereen, Wayne White, Sheila E and more, this special broadcast event will engage audiences with the distinctive interview style that has offered Tennessee Valley viewers intimate conversations with leading figures in politics, media entertainment and sports, said officials.

Paul Grove, president and CEO of WTCI, said, “The A List has been introducing our community to fascinating people here and beyond for nine wonderful years and I can’t wait to see what the tenth season brings!”

Viewers will have the opportunity to support The A List and PBS programming in the Tennessee Valley during this live broadcast event with gifts ranging from “I LOVE PBS” T-shirts, The A List mugs and special program-related experiences.

The tenth season will debut this fall and as it approaches Ms. Lebovitz and her team have been working to bring WTCI’s viewers the most compelling interviews to date. This season will feature conversations with guests, including a Medal of Honor recipient, an ocean conservationist aquanaut, Mitch Patel and a design justice leader helping to inspire equity in the built environment. Sponsored by the Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, this series introduces audiences in the Tennessee Valley to fascinating figures from the region and beyond.
