Chattanooga State Offers Free Children's Dental Days

  • Tuesday, August 21, 2018

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 1-in-5, or 20 percent of children ages 5-11 have at least one untreated decayed tooth. Chattanooga State’s Department of Dental Hygiene is offering its Free Children’s Dental Days for children between the ages for 4 and 13 on two different dates.

Limited appointments can be reserved for 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. on Oct. 8 or Oct. 10. If these dates are not convenient, call (423) 697-4488 for other dates and times.

Although fillings are not performed at the clinic, children may have their teeth cleaned, have X-rays taken, as well as have fluoride and sealants applied.

Early prevention is the key to oral health.

Call the Chattanooga State Dental Clinic with questions or to reserve your child’s appointment time at 423 697-4488.
