Following a previous “Caregiver Café” event at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga – Shallowford, the Morning Pointe Foundation and Parkridge Health System will present an encore of the “Caregiver Café” discussion on “Chronic Health Conditions and Joint Care” at Morning Pointe of Hixson, 5501 Old Hixson Pike, on Aug. 21 from 6-7:30 p.m.
This “Caregiver Café” discussion is part of a seven-part educational series designed to "connect expert physicians with those experiencing the physical and mental effects of aging as well as their loved ones."
Dr. Paula Stewart, Dr. Minerva Covarrubias and Dr. Mark Sumida of Parkridge Health System will address strokes, COPD, vascular dementia, cardiovascular disease and the care of joints before and after a fall. The discussion will also include a segment during which the audience can ask questions.
